Help Us Improve the Workplace by Participating in Survey Research

Workplace Survey Taking at Notre Dame (WSTAND) is a research group dedicated to improving the work experience for employees. By joining WSTAND, you would gain the opportunity to fill out surveys in exchange for Amazon e-gift cards that would be sent to you via email. Most study opportunities will pay around $10 for a 20-minute survey, often giving you the ability to earn up to $40 or $50 per study. And your efforts would help us in our mission to improve the workplace!

SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE

To be eligible to join WSTAND, individuals need to (a) be at least 18 years old; (b) be employed full-time; (c) have a supervisor whom they report to; and (d) have coworkers they interact with face-to-face a few days a week. Note that some study opportunities will give those coworkers (and, occasionally, those supervisors) a chance to fill out surveys as well, again in exchange for Amazon e-gift cards.

Click the button below to be redirected to a registration survey. The survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete. If you meet the eligibility criteria above and complete the survey, you’ll receive a $10 Amazon e-gift card sent directly to your email.

WHAT WILL PARTICIPATING LOOK LIKE?

If your survey responses indicate that you’re a good fit for WSTAND, we’ll notify you by email whenever a new study opportunity becomes available. If you sign up to participate in a study, you’ll receive an email to complete a registration survey for that study. Then, you’ll receive an email with a link that takes you directly to surveys hosted on Notre Dame’s Qualtrics platform. You’ll then receive your Amazon e-gift card within a few days of filling out your surveys. All data will be kept strictly confidential — your responses will not be shared with anyone. Below are examples of studies that individuals have participated in previously.

Workplace Experiences

Participants completed two 20-minute Qualtrics surveys designed to assess various aspects of workplace experiences, including engagement, job satisfaction, and perceptions of leadership. The survey included several standardized scales and Likert-type items to gather quantitative data on employee attitudes and organizational dynamics. Participants received $10 in Amazon e-gift cards for each survey they completed, resulting in $20 total in gift cards.

Stress at Work

Participants completed two 20-minute Qualtrics surveys assessing their workplace experiences and levels of stress. A coworker also completed a corresponding 5-minute Qualtrics survey, reporting on the participant’s stress levels. Employees received $20 in Amazon e-gift cards for their participation ($10 for each survey), and coworkers received a $10 Amazon gift card for completing their portion of the study.

Workplace Behavior and Productivity

Participants completed two 20-minute Qualtrics surveys assessing their engagement levels and other workplace behaviors. Two weeks later, their supervisor completed a corresponding 5-minute Qualtrics survey evaluating the participant’s creative efforts on the job. Employees received $20 in Amazon gift cards ($10 for each survey), and supervisors received a $10 Amazon gift card for their participation.
